These 99.95% pure platinum crucibles are available in standard and wide forms.

Due to their high temperature strength; ductility; corrosion and oxidation resistance; platinum crucibles are critical when high temperatures and resistance to chemical attacks are required.

Excellent resistance to chemical attacks by acids and fusion mixtures

Ideally suited for fusions; wet chemistry; digestion; ash testing; and Loss on Ignition (LOI) applications.

Don’t be too hard when using platinum crucible, otherwise it will be out of shape. 

Don’t touch carbon when using platinum vessels, otherwise will make platinum. embrittled. Keep it clean and bright when using the platinum crucible.

Note:

l Crucible lids are sold separately.

l When using platinum crucible, pls use the matched stainless steel crucible tongs, better use the tip cover the platinum.
