PTFE Insulation Heating Wire

PTFE heating wire, the standard product color is white, but others are possible. Featuring great electrical insulating ability, flexibility, and heat conductivity, the wire is used in a variety ofefrosting, thermal insulation, condensation prevention, and heating applications. It is typically found in refrigerating machines, medicaloparatus,electric cooker, cold storage, electrically heated blanket and cushion.

1.Structure 

The resistance alloy wire is wound on the glass fiber wire as the core wire (spiral), and the outer layer is covered with the PTFE layer.

2.Characteristics 

  1. It has excellent heat resistance. It can be used for a long time at 100 ℃ without any performance change. It can be used for 10000 hours at 160 ℃. 

  2. It has good insulation, the insulation resistance is more than 500m Ω, the resistance value is stable in a wide range of temperature and frequency, and it has good resistance to high voltage corona discharge and arc discharge. 

  3. It has good cold resistance and good rationalization in medical treatment.

3.Technical parameters

 2) maximum service temperature: 200 ℃ – 250 ℃ 

 3) insulation resistance: ≥ 5 m Ω

4.Application

it is suitable for keeping car hot seat and steering wheel warm, refrigerator, air conditioner, USB shoe cable heater for heating, electric blanket, towel, foot massage, electric stove, pet pillow, hot clothes, window heating, Pipeline freezing protection, electric weight loss belt, pet incubator, health care equipment. 9. 1.What is Ohm? 

A: ohm is the resistance. The heating wire is heated by the resistance 

Under the same length and same voltage, the higher the resistance, the smaller the power and the lower the heat output. 

Under the same length and same voltage, the smaller the resistance, the greater the power and the greater the heat output.

2.How to calculate power

Power = voltage * voltage / (resistance length) 

For example: 

Using a 5ml / M 12V cable, the power supply is:

12 V * 12 V / 2 m * 5 ohm = 14.4 w

Use a 15m cable of 1.4ml in 24 volt range

24 V * 24 V / 15 m * 1.4 ohm = 27.4 w

Note to Buyer

 1: it is recommended that the power per meter of the theoretical heating line should not be higher than 20W, because if the power per meter is about 20W, long-term heating may damage the surface layer of the heating line. If the power is greater than 20W per meter, temperature control is required 

 2: when using, the lines and lines cannot overlap and cross 

3.what is the power of the cable? What’s the temperature? 

A: 1. The power of the cable is based on the length you use. You can calculate the power according to the above example. 

Power = 5 W / m, temperature is about 30 ~ 40 ℃; 

Power = 10 W / m, temperature is about 40 ~ 50 ℃; 

Power = 15 W / m, temperature is about 50 ~ 60 ℃; 

Power = 20 W / m, temperature about 60 ~ 70 ℃;
