It is generally used in pipes and tanks. Series Resistance Heating Cable has the continuous exposure (maintain) capability of up to 400°F (204°C).
It can be used for continuous circuit lengths of up to 12,000ft (3659m), powered from a single source. Maximum Voltage rating is 660 Vac.

It is suitable for frost protection applications and temperature maintenance on pipes and tanks and it is also extremely flexible. This makes EKL light easy to install, even on irregular shapes such as on pumps, valves and flanges.
